Slicing – the process of generating paths and instructions for the 3D printer (G-Code) from a three-dimensional model. Print parameters are selected in the program type of slicer. We can distinguish parameters such as: the height of the layer, printing speed, infill density, wall thickness and temperatures of the nozzle and the heatbed. Additionally, you can choose application of the support and define its density or use one of several ways to improve the adhesion of the printout to the heatbed (raft or brim). 3DGence ONE uses Simlify3D Software. In this program, the user can choose profiles for different nozzle diameters or printing resolution. The final result is to generate the machine code, which is representing the 3D model in the form of G-Code. The G-Code should be saved on a SD card, then moved to the 3D printer, where the code is interpreted by the electronics of the printer.
